DC-Footing
The DC-Footing program is used to perform the foundation engineering verifications overturning, sliding, ground failure, soil pressure and settlement for several types of footings with horizontal and inclined ground surfaces and with a multi-layer soil structure. Different construction states can be considered in the calculation as excavation stages with slopes. The reinforced concrete design of the footings includes bending, shear force, punching shear and sleeve design.

Description
- Rectangular, circular, strip foundations with optionally inclined foundation base and representation of the column/wall and the base plate
- Optional centring for strip foundations through a flexurally rigid connected wall (raft foundation) or base plate
- Variable horizontal soil stratification
- Horizontal and inclined ground surface
- Optional representation of different construction states as excavation stages with slopes on all footing sides
- Entry of groundwater levels to consider buoyancy
- For the accurate internal modelling of the structural system (e. g. ground surface, soil stratification and footing dimensions), it is possible to import DXF graphics as a background.
- Several load cases with vertical concentrated and line loads, horizontal loads in the x- and y-directions and concentrated moments about the x- and y-axes, consideration of the earth pressure and earthquake loads
- Automatic generation of the load case combinations with the combination coefficients psi
- Foundation engineering verifications: overturning, sliding, ground failure, soil pressure and settlement
- Reinforced concrete design: bending, shear force, punching shear analysis and sleeve design
- Automatic optimisation of the foundation geometry (width and depth)
- Detailed output of the individual load cases as text and graphics
